The team of the University of Córdoba, Pedro Valverde, Conchi Muñoz, Diego Barranco and Juan Moral are supervising the 550 genotypes from the crosses made in 2018 in pots in the greenhouse of the university.
At the present time the genotypes are undergoing a 24 hours growth phase to be planted in mid of July 2019 at El Valenciano farm.
During 2019, 2020 and 2021 the agronomic characteristics will be evaluated and those genotypes that stand out above the control varieties (Arbequina, Arbosana and Picual) will be selected, propagated and their resistance to Xylella fastidiosa will be evaluated.
