Life Resilience partners work to expand the project’s genotypes

Pedro Valverde and Carlos Trapero from UCOLIVO and Nicola and Daniele Piacenti from SALOV, Life Resilience partners, meet in Pisa (Italy) to set up a trial and organize the planting of the project genotypes next spring.

In addition, UCOLIVO has also been visiting the University of Bari these weeks to establish collaboration and contact with Donato Boscia’s group in the work to combat Xylella fastidiosa.

UCOLIVO colleagues were also visiting and seeing the evolution of the experimental plots in the south of Puglia, highly infected by Xylella, in which the selected genotypes of the Life Recilience project will be planted thanks to the agronomist Lorenzo Presicce, with whom A contract has been signed to establish project trials in their fields.
