The LIFE Resilience project, with the collaboration of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) and the support of the Sustainable Innovation Group (GIS) and Agrifood Congress in the organization, celebrates an online conference under the title «Xylella fastidiosa in Spain : Current situation and advances in research ”, which will be held on Thursday, November 5 at 10:00 am through the GoToWebinar videoconference platform.
Xylella fastidiosa (XF) is a bacterium with pathogenic potential that has transmitted diseases in a variety of woody crops and trees. In April 2019, there were already 925 positive cases of XF registered in Spain.
There are different research groups in Spain that are investigating this pathogen through various national and international projects and, therefore, it is advisable to get together and take advantage of existing knowledge to work all in the same direction.
This leads us to organize the conference «Xylella fastidiosa in Spain: Current situation and advances in research» with various experts from the main affected areas and from public and private organizations that are participating in the control and prevention of the bacteria.
The conference will be held in Spanish
